In this spirit, Ethereum gets its own World’s Fair this November in Buenos Aires. A week where the ecosystem doesn’t just talk about innovation, but showcases what’s being built now, and what’s next. The eight districts of the Ethereum World’s Fair
Just as Nikola Tesla's electricity system lit up Chicago’s World’s Fair in 1893, when most people still used candles, we’ll showcase what Ethereum can do today to replace old and traditional systems. We’ll dogfood Ethereum on the ground for payments, ticketing, perks, and voting. Additionally, eight districts will highlight Ethereum’s domains. The most relevant teams will be there, demoing their apps and letting you try them hands-on. The districts are:
DeFi
All the power of the financial system, open to anyone with an internet connection. From stablecoins that maintain their value to innovative approaches in lending, borrowing, and payments. All without the need for banks or middlemen.
Social
Ethereum’s tools for organizing people online. Prediction markets, identity, and decentralized social apps show how communities can coordinate, govern, and make decisions together without central authorities.
Hardware & Wallets
Ethereum in the physical world and wallets that unlock the world of Ethereum. Explore self-custodial wallets and devices that empower users to control their assets. Discover how real-world systems can be community-owned.
Privacy
Not everything should be public. Privacy-preserving tech on Ethereum lets people transact, communicate, and build securely while keeping sensitive information hidden. A civil right for the internet age.
Gaming
Games where players own their assets. Characters, items, and virtual land live as NFTs on Ethereum, so you can trade, sell, or carry them into new worlds. Entertainment meets real digital ownership.
AI
Where artificial intelligence meets decentralization. AI agents and tools built with Ethereum are transparent, secure, and open to anyone, not locked inside big companies. Discover how Ethereum enables the future that AI promises, and together how they reshape productivity and trust.
L2

Ethereum Day – Nov 17
The grand opening at La Rural. Opening ceremony and talks from the Ethereum Foundation, core contributors, and app builders. One day to get up to speed on the roadmap and future of the ecosystem.
This day is included in your ticket, but entrance on the 17th will be first come first served, so don’t come late.
ETHCon – Nov 18
An all-Spanish introduction to Ethereum and its community, co-organized by regional leaders SEED Latam, Ethereum Argentina, ETH Kipu, Crecimiento, and Nodo Serrano. It’s the gateway to Devconnect for the local Spanish-speaking audience, featuring talks and panels on tokenization, privacy, regulation, AI, and decentralization. Plus hands-on workshops to kickstart or deepen your journey with Ethereum, and opportunities to connect with Argentina’s leading projects, communities, and universities.
