Today, we are excited to announce a strategic partnership between DeFi Saver and Summer.fi. Our goal is simple: ensuring users of both platforms continue to receive the best possible experience in the ever-evolving DeFi landscape.
By aligning our strengths – DeFi Saver’s advanced management and automation tools and Summer.fi’s expertise in optimized yield – we are creating a more streamlined path for power users to manage their positions.
What is changing?
As Summer.fi shifts its focus toward the Lazy Summer protocol and its AI-powered yield vaults, the Summer.fi Pro interface will be winding down on February 12th, 2026.
To ensure a seamless transition:
- For Summer.fi Pro users: Your positions are already accessible via DeFi Saver. There is no need to migrate funds; simply connect your wallet to DeFi Saver to find your existing Maker, Aave, Spark, and Morpho positions ready for management.
- For DeFi Saver users: You will gain access to the Lazy Summer protocol vaults natively within the DFS app in Q1 2026, bringing institutional-grade yield strategies to our interface.
From pioneers to partners
Both projects share deep roots in the ecosystem. DeFi Saver launched in 2019 as a dedicated management tool for MakerDAO, eventually expanding to 14+ protocols across 6 networks. Similarly, Summer.fi (formerly Oasis.app) was a pioneer in the MakerDAO space, before rebranding to Summer and later focusing on yield.
This partnership is a natural evolution, allowing each team to double down on what they do best while ensuring users aren't left behind.
What to expect at DeFi Saver
If you are coming over from Summer.fi, you’ll find a familiar feature set, just under slightly different names. For example, Multiply is handled via our Boost and Repay features, and Auto-Buy/Sell options live under our Automated Leverage Management suite.
Beyond the basics, you’re also gaining access to several DFS-exclusive power tools:
- Simulation mode allows you to try things and test transactions in a sandboxed environment, without risking actual funds;
- Position Flip let's you reverse your position (collateral ↔ debt) in a single transaction;
- Expanded protocol support means that in addition to the protocols you were used to at Summer, you can now create and manage positions on Fluid, Liquity, CurveUSD, LlamaLend, and Euler, too.

💡 Important note for automation users
If you currently have automation active on Summer.fi Pro, it will not carry over automatically. To maintain protection once the Pro dashboard shuts down, you will need to re-configure wanted automations at DeFi Saver.
This will require you to move your position to a Safe wallet, which is the default at DeFi Saver and the most popular smart wallet in the ecosystem. This is a 1-transaction process that the DFS App will guide you through. You can also read more about it here, and we'll be available for any assistance, of course.
